    I'd love to know which lenders accepted an 8% deposit for BTL in 2002. Obviously written by some jealous journalist who didnt buy at the right time

    I think that was the average thats why it looks strange. I'm not a great fan of averages I think it always helps to look at the mean and the mdeium.

    With rental yields so low and potential for growth appearing to be low, I would say its over for everyone except the experienced landlords and builders who know where to pick up properties below realistic value and have decent rental yields
