Figgy pudding - Fresh figs

I don't suppose anyone has a recipe for a figgy pudding that uses fresh figs? I had lots of figs from my tree this year, and froze them with the intention to make a figgy pudding at Christmas but I cannot find a recipe that uses fresh figs. I'm guessing I cant just substitute due to the water content.
I guess the other option is dry them out in the oven.
Hmm, any ideas?
Thanks,
Mrs Muffin
