Hi Guys,
Hoping for some help/advice! I am currently expecting my first child. I am self employed and on a low income (averaging £11,500 over 3 years) and my partner is in the Armed Forces.
I have been through the Government websites but it seems we don’t qualify for anything other than statutory Maternity Pay.
Is there anything I’m missing that we would be entitled to?
I’m concerned I won’t be able to afford Maternity Leave with my partner living away too due to work so am preparing for only about 6 weeks off if possible!
Thanks in advance
