Cheap Royal Mail

I was listening to radio 2 a month or so ago (I think that it was the Chris Evans Show) and he had a guest from a company that has been setup to challenge Royal Mail.

The basic way it works is that you send the letter in electronic format from you PC to them, they print it off and place it in an envolope for you and get it delivered.

I think that they quoted a first class stamp price of 24p per letter.

I think that they were called viamail but I have been googling around for about 40mins now and can't find a trace of them.

Does anyone else know who I am talking about and can point me in the right direction to finding them.

I warn you their sites awful (although that may just be firefox)

They run the e-bluey system for the Military. I'm hard pushed to think why anyone else would want to use it though seeing as how you could just e-mail the recipient for (sort-off) free

Well that's put me off for a start!! If that came to me as an email, I'd think it was a Nigerian scam message :rotfl:

And I have a real bug-bear with PC's (possessive) when it should be PCs .... plural! gggrrr

The site doesn't tell you what they do, but has a menu on the left ... Super Letter, e-bluey, pay-bluey, prism ....... ????

Horrible site! If I could find out how, I might have tested it, but I was outta there inside 10 seconds. Why don't businesses have their sites tried out by ordinary folk ... the type of people they're looking to win as customers?

Sorry - rant over. It might be a good service ... but they make it difficult to find out :o
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
