Its a keeping in touch day at work, so I go in and work the day and I get full pay from them. You are only allowed 10 when you are on maternity leave as I am receiving maternity allowance as well.0

Ahh I always go and let myself down! Today we went out to meet a friend for a walk (only expecting to be 1 - 2 hours) ended up spending the whole day out which meant me having to spend money on lunch for myself and a food pouch for my daughter at a total of £8.22. I need to be more prepared for these situations, I have lunch at home. Anyway draw a line and move on. So I have rounded my bank account down and taken £1.72 off CC2. I have also looked over my household spend and decided I don't need to be buying 3 different washing powders, I currently buy the non bio tablets for the baby, the bio tablets for us and DAZ for whites so I am going to cut back and just buy the DAZ as its for all colours and the non-bio tabs for the little one, and only but non bio conditioner. It really is the small things
Anyway spaghetti meat balls tonight and Christmas wrapping !!

I never realised how hard it is to go a day without spending money! Not pointless stuff but just essentials. So we needed fabric conditioner which managed to get like a 3 litre tub from b & m for £4.99 and then I needed a rolling pin to do my daughters hand prints which is another £1.50 so in total £5.49 spent
at least they have only been small amounts and its cash rather than credit cards! On a positive note opened my daughters bank account so we can start putting away bits for her. We managed to do the hand prints, it was so hard she wouldn't play ball ha! they look good so waiting for it to dry. I put a chicken pot pie in the slow cooker this morning, haven't tried this recipe yet but house smells amazing and it was so cheap to make so hopefully its a gooden. Im off to baby sit for my sister tonight so leaving OH with the baby and I am going to take my book and relax all evening as my niece will be in bed so lushh!

Had a lovely day today, spent £6.49 but im over it now. Went to visit a friend who I haven't seen for a while and has been through a rough time so was really nice to catch up. Her Grandma was visiting from up north and made us this amazing butternut squash soup which was hardly any ingredients so yes I got the recipe
and she also gave our little one £20 for Christmas so will be putting that in her savings account. Now at home chilling whilst OH is cooking sausage and mash
. Still waiting on the small amount from the surveys then I will pay that of CC2.

Wow busy weekend, didn't have much time to log in! On Sunday we went to a baby Christmas party for my little girl! She really enjoyed it. I haven't totaled up the spends yet but will do that hopefully tomorrow night. In work tomorrow so will be a busy day but worth it for the money just before Xmas. OH got his commission total today, not that great but its an extra £160 this month and due a big one in January so that excites me. We both decided we are going to have a few very strict months starting January and are going to pile money towards the debts so hopefully a good start to the year. So I am just going to finish my cuppa and then get an early night.0

So good news today I got my letter of acceptance of part time work for when I go back in March so I can start getting nursery sorted for our baby. My salary is going to be significantly lower but actually works out just below the taxable allowance so actually works very well with regards to take home pay
So obviously being super organised I have calculated a rough spreadsheet for next year and actually we will be in quite a good financial position to power through this debt and start getting some savings together. And OH commission should get a lot higher for the first few months as he has worked so hard towards the end of the year he has already smashed his first few months targets, very proud of him! Cashed out on surveys so have paid another £6 of CC1 - I am looking forward to pay day to update my totals properly. Anyway I am knackered so bath and bed

Haven't checked in for 6 days. Arghh! No extra payments made waiting until OH payday on Friday but also no extra debt!
Done a shop the other day and came in under budget at £41 so being extra Thrifty there ! Started putting our daughter in her own room last night so at the moment I am spending all evening up and down comforting her. Busy week this week meeting up with friends and present exchanging so will try and check in at least once before Xmas. Now to try and get a few hours sleep before the baby is up again
