Facebook blocked - rubbish for advents :(

If anyone is interested a quick google search shows what will give you a ban

Joining a group/page limit: 25 in 24 hours.

Mass follow limit: the account gets banned after 500+ follows in 24 hours, and it will require providing an ID to unblock it.



Which is probabaly the reason for all the bans at the moment. Never knew it was so low!

ive not entered that many and a lot of the pages I already liked from past competitions. It is so silly x

I was worried this might happen, for that reason I have only looked at advents not on social media so far. It's a shame as half of my wins in November were on facebook.

There must be some other criteria as well though, because I've liked 22 pages since Advents started (so across 2 days, probably about 10 to 12 per day) and still been banned. Only entered about 50 comps in total across the 2 days, so it's not taken much


Maybe they just see it as an unusual increase for me instead? I've only been doing about 3 to 5 comps per week on there the last few months as really cut back.

I think quite a few people think and believe Facebook is a competition website when it is a social media website.

I agree with grannybiker though that they should clamp down on all the companies asking for shares, likes and tags on posts. I rarely enter any comps on Facebook because of that. I cannot tell you the last time I saw a comp on Facebook that linked you through to a form you need to complete to enter.

I absolutely refuse to enter any sharing/tagging competitions - I only do the Facebook ones if it's a simple 'like this post' or a tab with a Gleam form. Good to know that their limits are so low though, I had no idea!

This has happened to me too! Again doesn't end until 9th Dec. Well there go the adverts so annoyed �� I've submitted a report to them but don't think it'll make the difference as they did this to me a couple of months ago too ��

Does anyone know if they always stick to the date stated, eg 9th? Or will they feel festive and drop the ban early!
