What does "no fees" mean for a remortgage?

I've just switched from YBS to a base+0.04% with Co-op. This was advertized as a "no fees" mortgage.

Having just completed, my summary statement from the CoOP nominated solicitor shows
Bank Charge 30.00 +5.25 VAT
Land registration fees 30.00 + 0.00 VAT

Now given the saving I'm making that's well worth it, and the process has worked well, but I've had nothing unusual that I know of, and had a small excess after redemption paid by cheque (no swift transfer)

There were lots of potential charges listed by the solicitor early on, but I got the impression most were for unusual circumstances.

So it's really no big deal, but I was wondering if this is normal, or if it would be expected for the CoOP to cover these costs?

Thanks
Nigel.
