Gold Paint for Glass help!

Hi, I want to get some gold paint to use on wine glasses for Christmas this year.

The idea is (copied from someone on here) is that I am going to do a sort of pot of gold theme for my family who are coming for dinner, so the wine glass will be personalised, with some gold chocs, lotto tix etc. inside.

Anyway I have been on to ebay to try to source the correct sort of paint, but am finding it hard to decipher as some say to be used for stained glass and with certain crafts in mind.

I want something that would work really easily (as I am not at all artistic) so the best thing would be a 'pen' or the like to write it on.

Does anyone know of anything like this that I could use? and where I might be able to get some?

Hi, it was me that posted, and everyone loved them


I used a glass paint pen that I bought from a craft shop for about £2.50.

It was similar to this one on ebay..

but obviously gold.

The pen was really easy to use (I'm not at all arty)..I just drew sort of swirls lol and my daughter drew holly leaves and berries.

I did have a photo from last year, if I can find it I'll post on here.
