well you gave her good feedback so why would she lie? I am actually
quite angry that they believe her after I have never had an issue about my work effort ever before and in fact, they have openly said I could do the night on my own and people are in good hands with me, all my supervision,s have shown this too, yet they believe someone who has been here 2 months over my 17 months.
Anyway, after that talk,, my senior manager said I still want the invitation to the wedding, so I said well I'm sorry you cannot have one, I do not have one and my dad said no.
I said it's my dads' side so not my choice, she said well does he not know you have to show it to me I said he still said no, as its private, then said anyway I have to leave as I need to get my bus, she stormed off.
My manager messed up my annual leave so instead of getting paid for 95hrs I only got paid 52 which really messed up my month as I had the time off which he told me I had and he put on the rota so as far as I knew I had them days left which we have to take by Dec 14th or we lose them.
The question now is what next? I have sent email to my boss as I do feel they are looking for any reason to discipline me bully me.
Sorry, but "stream of consciousness" writing should be left to those who can make it intelligible, like Jack Kerouac.
If you want advice then please write something in a cogent way.

It doesn't really matter about how long someone has been working there. It (theoretically; not everyone plays ball) matters about WHO IS RIGHT.
For example, the stuff about women being exploited/abused by high profile personalities and it being covered up for a large number of years. I think it is the #metoo stuff? (I'm sort of winging this example as I, quite surprisingly, don't know much about the specifics!). But, anyway, there is always the possibility of abuse when length of service is a weighting factor for credibility. Or to put it another way, if they trust your word because of your length of service over another person then you could use that fact to bully and intimidate new starters and get away with it.0 -

OP mentioned the invite earlier but didn't make reference to it being for a wedding.
Her boss asked for proof of why she couldn't work the shift in question and demanded to see the invite.
To OP: From your account your manager sounds like she is trying to throw her weight around. Hopefully the manager of your manager may not feel she is being reasonable if she takes any significant action off the back of this. Is your line manager wholly responsible for rostering shifts?0 -
For your annual leave have you got a copy of the leave being granted? As when I used put mine in I send it electronically by email then they would email back to say granted or not. Now I just email in and ask for it when I want it with zero hours and put the days in as I normally know what I work. But you always need a copy so you can check with any discrepancies.
The thing about the colleague - colleagues had a moan, they have to investigate it regardless normally. Just ask in a week if anything will come of it:T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one:beer::beer::beer:
