Nationwide re mortgage

Im using a mortgage advisor to apply for a re mortgage, I got the email “mortgage requirements have been agreed in principle” on the 29th October then Got an email from him on 23rd November to say a valuation has been instructed how long does that normally take it seemed to be taking a while, I havent been contacted from the valuation people yet??

What happens now? What does the mortgage requirements have been agreed in principle mean?

Whats next? The waiting is a nightmare :j

Anyone went through this lately with Nationwide?

They might do a desktop valuation ?


I got an AIP and the valuation was booked within 48 hours with nationwide but I'm a ftb.

It might also depend on the surveyor it's been sourced out to and if they return it due to no availability and it does to another etc etc .

My nationwide valuation was booked within 24 hours of applying and got an offer within 24 hours of the valuation

I spoke to my advisor today, he said that someone would be coming out to do the valuation so dont think its getting done online 🤦!♂️

Worried that something is wrong now, I hate waiting 😆
