Quick question
Hello, if a loan application of £12500 is rejected with no negative factors on my credit report, I work full time with a reasonable salary and have a mortgage, is it worth applying elsewhere and if so how soon is too soon?
I applied only today however thinking ahead just in case. Thank you

It may be, as lenders have different criteria.
However, it would be worth sense checking whether you're likely to be accepted anywhere. For example, £12k on a £20k salary probably isn't going to fly. Likewise with a lack of credit history.0 -
use money supermarket.com, they'l do a soft credit check and give you a rough indication as to whether a particular lender will loan you the money0

It says 90% chance of acceptance. My salary is just under £31,000. I’m not too worried at the moment. My application was with Santander. If the application is rejected is ‘safe’ to apply elsewhere straight away?0

Apply elsewhere and if rejected twice, leave it a couple of months.0
