Good ridance to my MS cc!

I just wanted to share with everyone that I have finally paid off my first proper debt! Ok I repaid my OH 500 pounds but that was from Ebaying a lucky win.
I have thought long and hard about whether to leave the money in my current account or pay off the last 250 of Morgan Stanley cc, but I decided that as I want to renew my mortgage in Feb 2008, it would probably be best to pay off one of my debts in full and close the account asap to reduce my access to available credit and hopefully improve my credit score. Fingers crossed!
I wish I could have spoken to an operator but it was all done on a computer. I am so looking forward to getting the letter saying its all closed and at a zero balance!
Heres to the first of the three smallish bank debts gone  So far since my LBM I have repaid 800 on ccs, 1500 on my OD and 500 to my OH:D

It was the chaise loungeI needed the money and the sofa was 7ft and I have a 2 bed flat! I got 515 pounds for it, which is much more practical! I hate being a grown up some times!
Congrats Maz!!! I love paying off debts! Not sure yet if it will be the Lloyds CC or the Lloyds OD next! I think it will go quicker as before I was paying some off my OD and some of the MS cc so if I just pick one of the two to aim for hopefully I will be starting a new thread soon!Debt Free - done

Yep I hate them too! I would say you need a degree in rocket science to operate their online banking, only I have a degree in Physics and that didnt help me at all!
They were rude, nasty and I tried to set up a minimum payment dd to ensure whatever happened that I kept the interest free credit, but some how they forgot I had asked for that and so I got charged interest for the entire time :mad:Debt Free - done
