Extended warranties after bankruptcy

Hi. I was forced to go bankrupt after a series of lifechanging events resulting in the loss of my job due to becoming suddenly disabled. One of the purchases I made a few years before bankruptcy was a bed. I purchased extended warranty on this and was paying it all back via finance. The bankruptcy included this debt, but is the warranty still valid? I understand I will have lost any claim to a s75 route.

Comments

  • Without knowing the terms of the warranty it can't be said for certain however most warranties will have an insolvency clause, as well as the fact that you aren't paying the warranty anymore, will make it invalid.
  • Didn't think about an insolvency clause. I will read through and see. Thanks very much.
