Digital Photo frames

I need to get presents for a couple of people and I think both would love a digital photo frame. Can anyone recommend a good one for a reasonable price (up to £75.00 each). I also want ones where the power supply isn;t too bulky.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give

I just bought some from Argos for £40. they look really nice and whilst they are basic ones they do the job. You do need to buy a separate memory card for them though as they don't have any built in memory. Play.com also have some for the same price but I bought mine from Argos when they had the voucher offer on as I wanted 2 and also some other stuff. We've got one for each of our parents and are going to get a memory card for each of them and put lots of photos of our 2 boys on them. If you need memory cards, play are much cheaper than argos for them.

Boots have advertised one online although it is currently out of stock online. You can still get them in larger stores though. Hope that this helps you. Theirs is only £39.99 if you can get a hold of it.0 -
I want to get a digital photo frame for my parents who emigrated to Indonesia this year.
If I was to e-mail them photos would they be able to get them off their computer and onto the memory card of the frame?
Sorry not sure how they work!
I know you can put the memory card from your digital camera in the frame and use it that way but just wondered about using it long distance?
Would be a great way for them to see their grandchildren.

You can do this but you would need a card reader. I think you would send the photo as a jpeg to their "HOTMAIL" account and then they would dowload it to their computer and then copy it across to their memory card using the card reader. As I have never actually done this myself I couldn't give you a blow by blow account but it is possible and shouldn't be that difficult to master once you know what you are doing.
Hope you get one. I think that it is a great idea for the grand parents0 -
My hubby got me the Kodak sv710 from Argos for my birthday, it was around £70 so not the cheapest but the quality is excellent, we did get a really cheap one from ebuyer but had to send it back as couldn't hardly see the photos. The kodak one plays videos and mp3's also, the videos are pretty cool, reminds me of the photos on Harry Potter! It also takes a few different kinds of memory card which is handy and has a remote control.

Yes it's possible. You could email them the photos and they could either use the card reader option already mentioned, or they could use the card from their own digital camera. Plug the camera into their PC (as they would to download pictures from camera to PC) and instead of downloading from camera to PC they upload from PC to camera. Just a case of copying and pasting the picture files in Windows Explorer.
Hope this makes sense! If not give me a shout and I'll try to explain it better.

Hello
I ordered a couple last year from http://www.redsave.com/, very stylish, good quality. They seem to have another offer on at the moment - £39.99. All very simple, last year you had to become a member (free initially) but just cancel once you've received your order (which arrives really promptly).

Was just going to post the same as I have literally just ordered one of these. Says its deal of the day and comes with 512mb SD card free.

They do have other colours but this is the link for the Silver one that I got. Go through quidco.com for an extra 15% cashback :j0 -
IMO I would go for one without a built in memory that takes a stick as you would soon fill in the built in memory bit. Also remember that the size is measured diagonally (like a TV size) so for example ours is 10" but the actual size is 8" x 6", ours is a great size as you can see the photo's across the room.
