Pension or property plus other investments via my Ltd

I'm 35, and own my own Ltd. I'm turning over around £130-160k per year, and also own properties from where I am earning income, say 35k pa. Obviously I am utilizing minimum amounts from my company money to keep on a low tax bracket, therefore my company is cash rich.
My SIPP is only £15k but then again I've got S&S and cash ISAs and other investments that are strong and keep on topping those up.
The plan is to invest more in more property and other high/low risk investment areas, and in general keep a well diversified portfolio.
Given that to get a steady income of say 50k pa from a pension you'd need to have a pot of around 1m, and my position, is it prudent to start going towards a pension scheme? I think not, but keen on listening what others have to say.

It makes sense. Pension contributions benefit from corporation tax relief and go into a very tax efficient wrapper. You can ultimately buy commercial property within the pension if you want, though this gets more complex and expensive, therefore it's usually something for larger pensions. In the meantime, there's a large range of investment options to pick from.I am a Chartered Financial Planner

I was just reading about that: pension contribution directly from my Ltd up to £40k pa and up to a total of £1.25m, which is tax free for the Ltd. Is this what you are referring to?0

I was reading exactly that
