Hi All
Please be gentle this is my first post but I wondered if someone can help me. I left my job on the 9/11 (to start another one). I was paid 2 weeks in advance 2 in arrears on the 15th of the month. I was also owed 15 days (3 weeks) holiday pay. The company are now telling me that I owe them 3 weeks’ pay for overpayment of wages. This is not right surely? I am getting really confused! Any help would be appreciated.

genuinely impossible to say for sure.
What did you get paid, and what were you realistically expecting to get; was there a big disparity
This 3 weeks holiday, was that an accurate figure0 -
Thanks for the quick reply. This month I was paid my normal monthly wages on the 15th, despite leaving on the 9th. But as I say I am owed 15 days holiday pay which in my mind wipes out the arrears. If anything I think they owe me.0

Ask them to show their workings, but also make sure that your workings of 15 days leave are correct: when did your leave year begin, how much leave had you taken (including bank holidays), what was your leave entitlement?Signature removed for peace of mind0
