Loan or credit card help

My partner has a little bit of bet and would like to take out a credit card or loan so it is all in one place and easier to pay off.
Our home is currently being built and will be finished in 3 weeks. We won’t be paying our full deposit until the date of completion due to my help to buy isa.
Should my partner wait until we move in to apply or do it now as he is not getting new det he is clearing old det and putting into one place?

What is his debt and at what rates? What's his income?
Moving it all to one place doesn't necessarily make it easier or cheaper to pay off.0 -
He has 3 store cards with a lot of interest and a credit card. His yearly salary is £31,000 after tax0

He needs to find out how much he owes, who to and at what rates.0
