Hello
I want to go this Saturday to Cardiff from London. I don't want to buy ticket from now as I may not feel well to go on Saturday.
Will I lose alot of money if I buy them few hours before travel than if I bought them now?

Have you read MSE's Cheap Train Tickets article?
Perhaps do that first and then ask pertinent questions.0 -
Years ago I bought a return ticket in advance saving money and making a cycle booking but the reason for my journey changed so I got a refund before the date of travel. Can't remember but I think there might have been an admin fee.0

If you book using Trainline, you can generally get a refund on unused tickets. The fee is £10 I think. So it depends whether pre-booking can save you £10 or more....0

Bear in mind Trainline charge a fee for tickets which most sellers do not.0 -
If you use Quidco, you can get up to 3% cashback on Trainline (and some other ticket operators)0
