Credit rating post Decision in principle

Hi everyone
I have had a decision in principle from Skipton and seeing my broker tomorrow to submit a full mortgage application for the property I have my heart set on.
I have just checked my noddle account and my rating has gone down from good to fair.
I have noticed there are three recent searches on there (one from Skipton).... Will these have affected my score?
And the big question.... Will this change in score affect whether my mortgage is accepted or not?

Comments

  • Fear not. Your score is a made up number than only you see. It doesn't matter whether it goes up or down as it's not used in lending criteria.

Searches are a fact of life when applying for a mortgage, so no need for concern.
  • Thankyou.... over thinking and stressed
