My personal recommendation is the Logitech Hyperion Fury G402, it should have everything your grandson needs and has good reviews across the internet. I have been using mine for around 3 years without any problems, it has programmable buttons, adjustable DPI and nice software which is provided for your grandson to customize it to what he likes.

Your'e very welcome. It was on offer for just £17.99 on Amazon yesterday, but seems to have gone back up in price now... hopefully you spotted it on sale.
  • Looking on google the Logitech G502 is the best selling mouse currently available.
  • Logitech G402 or HyperX Pulsefire are really great mice

I agree. G502 is a very good mouse. It even has small weights you can place inside it to get the desired weight of the mouse. Side buttons are also a requirement for be in a mouse, and the G502 has 3 in easy places to reach.

I've used Corsair's M65 RGB Pro, brilliant mouse for FPS.. good CPI options and traction is amazing.

Right now, I am using Steel series Rival 300.. best one so far! better than the m65.
