How long to wait for a CETV?

I requested a CETV at the beginning of October. I have now been told that due to a recent High Court judgement on the Lloyds Banking Group sex equality case related to the equalisation of Guaranteed Minimum Pensions (GMPs) for men and women, I will now have to wait up to six months from the date of the original request. I was originally told that I would get the CETV in 15 working days.

Are there any legal requirements for the administrator to provide this in a more timely manner?

6.—[F49(1) Subject to paragraph (1A), the guarantee date in relation to a statement of entitlement must be—

(a) within the period of three months beginning with the date of the member’s application F50 ... for a statement of entitlement; or
(b)where the trustees are unable to provide a statement of entitlement for reasons beyond their control within the period specified in sub-paragraph (a), within such longer period not exceeding six months beginning with the date of the member’s application as they may reasonably require.]
