    I did it after a few tries with numbers only, someone had suggested refreshing until numbers only and it worked for me

    It is just pot luck - I tried with and without a form filler and included for both sets, all numbers, using enter/submit, refreshing prior to entering, leaving that bit blank, caps lock on/off (just in case) etc and it did not go through - next time I tried it went through first time using a form filler, submit, and it was a mixture of letters and numbers.

    As per this post by CXL;
    I've noticed the code won't go through for me if the t&c's box has been ticked beforehand. Try ticking the box after you've typed the code, hth :)https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5916243/e-19-11-win-a-yorkshire-provender-hamper&highlight=waitrose#7
    Accepting the terms and conditions after filling in the code meant that it went through first time.
    On the previous Yorkshire Provender competition I 'd tried ten or more times before reading CXL's post. Again it went through the first time I tried, only clicking to accept the t&c's after filling in the refreshed code.

    I think their competitions are a bit like instant win "winning moments" ones, the difference being you have to hit a "winning moment" to get your entry to work so it makes no difference if you happen to be standing on your head eating a poached egg at the moment when your entry goes through.

    I sent them an email and got this reply today.
    but I did manage to get it to work a couple of days ago,
    I dont know why they mention Lindt comp,

    I am sorry to hear that you are still having some issues with entering our Lindt competition. We are currently aware that there are some technical issues but our I.T team have advised to try and clear cookies on the website which may help resolve the problem

    To clear your cookies please take the following steps;
    - Go to the home page of Waitrose.com
    - Scroll to the bottom of the page
    - Click the 2nd item ‘Website cookies’ - (Along the grey strip)

    This will open up another page
    - Scroll to the bottom of this page to;
    - 'Click here to clear your Waitrose cookies'

    Please note that performing this action will log you out of Waitrose.com, and may affect any additions you have recently made to your trolley

    - Close any Waitrose windows you may have open
    - Log back into Waitrose.com

    These steps should then have cleared the issue you are experiencing. however if this doesn’t work or you need help with this, please do reply to my email letting me know so that I can continue looking into this for you

    Kind regards
    Thanks to all who post comps :)

    Thank you cinders59.
    Perhaps I should point out that I had tried clearing cookies with the Provender comp, but that didn't have immediate effect - it wasn't until I left the t&c's till last that I got the entry. Maybe I closed the Waitrose page inbetween?

    I'm sure mmjm3346 has got a point about it being luck, but there may well be contributing factors.

    Such a shame, for quite a while they seemed to have cured these Waitrose comps and I was able to enter easily. It was so nice!
