Final Mortgage Statement

Hi,

Hoping someone might be able to offer advice. I've recently switched mortgage providers and my old provider First Active, has said that they don't provide final mortgage statements. I'm suspicious that they haven't calculated my final redemption amount correctly, but without the statement I am unable to check this.
Does anybody know if they have a legal obligation to provide such a statement (showing all payments/interest and redemption charges)? I know other providers supply these statements.

Regards
Darren

Can you ask your solicitor as to what redemption statement was provided to pay off the old mortgage?
