Finally! Enter 1000 Gleam competitions this year completed!

I finally have a prize that I won in May! :eek:

It was the flymo battery operated tools from the mags, which arrived mid June. The hedge trimmer/strimmer/blower worked ok but the lawn mower battery was dead!

Many emails followed with the supplier/manufaturer, who took a while to work out that no, I could not take it back to the shop I bought it from as it was a competition win. Then they said there was a 3 month wait for a new battery before suggesting I took it to registered repairer. Had to take the whole lawnmower in it's box - good job hubby was there as my arms weren't long enough to go round the box to pick it up. Eventually a new battery was supplied, so had another trip to the repairers to pick it up.

Mowed the lawn today, even though it didn't really need it :rotfl:

I have been away for a week and not done a single competition in that time, it is a long long time since I have gone a whole week and not entered any comps at all :eek:

I am sooo far behind in just a week, time to knuckle down again

I have won 2 books this week, looks like a book month for me. I will only add one to list. DS won a mag daily,so he is a happy bunny.

HOW are we already half way through September?! HOW??

It's fair to say I've not got back into the swing of comping just yet, but I had 2 small wins last month and managed to complete the 1000 mag dailies challenge, so still chipping away at it bit by bit.

Hope everyone else is doing a bit better than me

Sad that this thread isn't what it used to be and sad that I haven't had a win this month. First month ever not to have even a sniff of a win.
Slowly creeping up to the 1000 entries for Instagram. Currently on 982.
100 competitions entered today and counting...

Moneybot and the Newt are a huge miss for our natters

I am crazy busy with "real life" at the moment so I haven't been as active as I should be.

Has the Compers Challenge ran it's course or do we think it is just a quiet time?
