Declined by Natwest after initial acceptance- worth an appeal?

My daughter is buying my house. Valued 115000 / selling at 80000. Difference and deposit is gifted equity 35000.
She banks with Natwest and broker applied on our behalf due to complicated application with the equity/ selling to family member
Got a yes initially but on main application it was declined due to a mobile bill contract being renewed and my daughter cancelling direct debit before final bill coming out. This amount was showing as in arrears for a few months before she received a letter in August and then she paid in full.
Credit report wasnt checked before initial application and daughter naively thought it wouldn't matter as cleared as paid before application went in 🙄
My daughter banks with Natwest and although she overlooked the last bill it wasnt due to affordability which anyone looking at the way she runs her account would see. She has no overdraft, never has payments bounce, is always in credit and removes a good amount transferred to a healthy saving account each month, also with Natwest.
Is it worth an appeal or are we stuck with an adverse lender due to her £60 settled default with EE.

It may be worth an appeal with it being a small settled default at a reasonable LTV. Does your broker think it's worth a shot?
I'm sure even with the mobile phone default, if the high street isn't possible you wouldn't be very far off it. Some lenders will ignore mobile phone defaults.I am a Mortgage Broker.

My broker said he'd give it a shot if i wanted but said most are an automatic decline. He didn't seem overly optimistic either way. He tried her with Accord and they declined too so thinking it's a lost cause personally which is why i suggested an appeal with her bank.0
