Thank you for your response, it’s just so frustrating as I would not be in his position if it was not for psa employees giving me the wrong information about next steps. I know I’m being stubborn with them but I literally don’t have he money to be sorting all of this out and I wouldn’t have to if it wasn’t for their inadequately trainer staff. I just feel like now they are bullying me into doing as they want as they won’t accept fault on their behalf

I think you being stubborn will cost you more than just dealing with it in a first place. If you MOTed it straight away, it would be collected. Now you're incurring extra charges and there will be a lot of them.

Also, I don't think you can sell the car, as you're not the owner. You can try to find someone to pay off the finance as part of buying process.

The best solution would be to arrange for collection, MOT it, insure it (and then cancel it). It will be all cheaper than fees you will incure for extra period of keeping the car.

Who's the registered keeper of the car? Finance company? In that case I don't see how you could sell it. If it's you, you're responsible for insurance and tax and will be fined if car doesn't have them.

Get it MOTd, get day insurance so you can drive it if you only need to drive it for a day.
