Time for remortgage

We bought our first house last year, completing in late Feb 2017. Our initial mortgage was a 2 year discounted variable which is due to end at the end of Feb 2019.
The broker who we used was excellent and advised at the time that he would be in touch when it comes to remortgaging time. I was wondering, especially thinking about Christmas being in the way, roughly when should I expect him to be in touch? I would contact him to ask, however he's really busy all the time, and while he is the sort to update you when he's on holiday, I don't want to waste his time unnecessarily.

Thanks everyone. I've sent him a quick email so we should have the ball rolling in good time.0

You've contact them now so doesn't matter but I would expect to hear about 3 months before so maybe a few weeks early. No harm in asking and if your broker is good like you say then he may well process your remortgage offer early to give you plenty of time to decide what happens next. Good luck!0

Or you could arrange the re-mortgage yourself.

It may not be difficult to do but a lot of us want peace of mind by a broker... A broker has a clue on who to put people with. While we don't. The broker knows the criteria that may fit you.
I for one, am very happy to use a broker that may secure me a deal. Which has happened this last few weeks.[STRIKE]1/12/16 - £152,599.00 [/STRIKE]
