Mortgage term due to end but selling house.

Hi, I am trying to sell my property which I jointly own with an ex partner but my mortgage is due to renew in April 2019. I don’t want to get tied into another contract and face the early repayment fees so not sure what my best option is to do.
Any advice would be greatly apprracited.
Thanks
Louise

Stay on your lenders SVR......will be a higher rate but no ERC.
  • Im in a similar situation - we are looking to move but not for a few months, due to a quiet market.

Our fixed period ends Jan, and i was considering moving to Nationwide:

    Nationwide Rem 2 yr tracker
    1.84% for 24 months
    Set up fee £20
    Cashback offer of £200
    Overpayments allowed, Charge N/A
    Exit fee £65

With a small set up fee and exit fee, and no other charges, what are the cons? Our SVR with Virgin will be 4.99%. We could even pay off a bit more of the mortgage per month if we wanted to reduce our loan amount.
