Mortgage deed

We just have just signed our mortgage deed, but unfortunately our witness signed the box that my partner was suppose to sign as the buyer. Has this happened to anyone? Did you have to do a new form or was it acceptable? Thank you!!

Yes, people sign in the wrong places all the time. As long as all the signatures are there and appropriately labelled it should be fine. But you might want to copy it to your solicitor before posting it to check it's ok.
