Bought today.   The bedroom isn't actually finished yet, the line you can see is the join in the Walrock insulating paper which I put up as an experiment on an uninsulated outside wall. It actually works well and the wall seems much warmer.  I just sloshed some emulsion on top as a temporary measure.  It does need decorating properly but I haven't found the right wall paper yet.  Anyway the painting helps cover it up a bit for now.
LL my sister H has this in her Living room. She loves Next  :D

This hangs in my dining room.  It's only a printed canvas, not original  but I really like it. Its actually a big piece, it's a long wall And can take it. £4 from a Chazzer. Bargain. 😂

I am in dire need of some more art.  I have several large pieces which people have donated to me but which I'm not that keen on.  As a temporary measure I am tempted to try and paint over them myself or maybe cover them with some nice fabric.  A project for winter.
LL this is my favourite. What a bargain find <3

Love your vibrant Caribbean lady, LL and your new pic is so calming, perfect for the bedroom. Your charity shop find is fab, too  :)

Your Caribbean painting reminds me of our wonderful holiday in St. Lucia back in 2004. Unfortunately we didn't bring anything like that back, just some coconut carvings  (long gone)......although I do have a rather lovely ring DH bought me in Castries  :)

I thought I'd share some of mine - the first is my (not quite finished) oversized artwork originally painted for the snug but now residing in the equally unfinished bathroom (that door will eventually be moved, lol!)....

This is our Homesense purchase - I love her grim expression and the way they've overlaid tattoos on her period person! Again, it's hard to see but the  background colour is a perfect match for some of our 'brinjal' accessories!

Here's the painting we were given (the colours are much brighter irl, I took this in our dimly lit building site, lol!).....
