What a little cutie, LL, so lovely for you to be able to see him/your family 

I've been taking it a bit easier today, pottering and potting up. The garden is really hard work, especially in the current heat (not that I'm complaining!), so it's been nice to sit in the shade of the apple tree with a pile of pots, a rhino bucket of compost and my seedlings, gently potting them up. I like to think we've saved a fortune (champagne moment) - then I realise we've been keeping the compost companies in business, lol!

Will do a spot of watering when it's cooler, then we're going to spend an hour on the demolition work

It does, Carol - it's David Austin Emily Brontë - according to the blurb it has a strong tea fragrance, becoming more old rose with hints of grapefruit and lemon. Not sure about all that, lol, but it's definitely a lovely scent 

We have planted 50+ David Austin roses here and that's one of my favourites....for colour at least!

That pic yesterday isn't how it's meant to look - although that was taken later in the day when you'd expect it to be open fully - here it is this morning (same flower head).......
