I know that this should perhaps go on 'green-fingered' but I know this board better and that folk on here have a lot of experience.
I have a relative who loves her garden, and I thought that a garden clock would be a nice idea. We don't have a good garden centre locally (I could make a special journey if I need to) so I looked on-line.
I'm quite bewildered - there are some nice looking ones at about £20-30, but I can't help think that they might not be robust enough at that price - and they are from retailers i don't know . My budget is double that, but I don't want to spend it if I'm not going to get anything better!
Advice welcome.

I have got a large garden clock and I wouldn’t be without it.
I don’t expect them to last as long as an indoor clock and will always buy one with a 2 year guarantee at least.

Are great and have sorted out an issue with one clock straight away.
There are also many for sale on eBay from reliable looking sellers.0 -
Maybe look for a open faced style clock (one without the glass ) as glass clocks tend to mist up and freeze in cold weather making them unreadable until they defrost.0

I didn't think much of this idea - surely everyone has phones these days? - but having had a look at the link I am persuaded, some are really smart and I now have my beady eye on one that will match my manual doorbell
For a back garden, I like the sun face clock. Being copper it will turn green in time, though:Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I do like the open faced ones - the sun one is beautiful - but just to say I have a glass fronted one and it doesn't mist up

Ok, I'm really getting into this outdoor clock thing now and have P'nned several to my wishlist
.
Out of interest, how long do standard batteries last for? I'd like to have one that might be useful to foot traffic, I'm just thinking of the hassle factor in changing then all the time.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Thank you all - this has led me into much better clocks than the ones I had seen. The true pleasure though are VfM..'s posts - I hope Santa obliges, but I can't help with battery life- seems so variable!0

Prefer to escape clocks really. You'll find me in the garden. In the shed. In my greenhouses. Or maybe the local hostelry!0
