How to book

To book your 2FOR1 train ticket, simply call us on 0845 602 1245 before Sunday 9 December. Please note that this offer is only available by phone. See full terms and conditions below.

Terms and conditions

1. Tickets are valid for off-peak services only, booked by telephone 0845 602 1245, seven days in advance.
2. Tickets will be dispatched by post.
3. Customers must purchase one full price ticket in order to qualify, and both tickets must be for the same journey on the same day.
4. Tickets must be booked by 9 December 2007 for travel up to and including 16 December 2007.
5. Offer restricted to day returns departing after 10am.
6. Offer applies to adult tickets only (16 years old and over).
7. Valid on South West Trains services only.
8. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or Railcard.
9. Calls are charged at local rate and may be recorded.
10. Calls cost a maximum 4p per minute to BT customers, price of calls from non-BT phone lines will vary.

This is a good offer, but before booking check megatrain.com first as this may be cheaper (though more restrictive)

You can also get DAYSAVE tickets, for off peak travel on Southern trains, which includes the Portsmouth-London Victoria route, these cost £10 per person or £20 for up to 4 people but have to be booked at least 7 days prior to travel. The journey takes 30 mins longer than SWT to Waterloo and the last valid journey back is at 21:17 but for a fiver each it is worth a look.
