Eating into capital

I have no mortgage, two whole of Life policies worth about £50k and the maximum number of Premium Bonds plus a small amount of shares. I'm finding it a struggle living on my Pension of £1100 per month, and need probably another £400 a month to be OK. This I will get in two years time when my State pension kicks in plus another Pension. What do I do in the meantime?

    Invest your available funds properly?

You appear to have around 80-90k. If you could obtain a 5% return on that you would get around 350 a month, quite close to your target.

Tell us more about the "other pension". What kind is it?
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
