Hi, does anyone work for Newcross Healthcare Solutions a care agency please?
I'm currently working in care and need something a lot more flexible so am considering agency's. I don't want a zero contract and the above company state you hav guaranteed hours, is this true?
Also can you really pick as and when you work?
What if you don't drive, can you still apply without having miles and miles to commute?
What are they like to work for?
If you turn down shifts or make yourself not avaible do they take other shifts off you?
Or does anyone work for an agency that is great?
Thanks for reading

You appear to be confused. If you wish to have the power to refuse work, you must be on a zero hours contract. If you want guaranteed hours then you have no such right. There is no right to flexibility, no matter what anyone says. In the end, their needs as a business are paramount, and they will only allow you to work the hours that you want if it suits them. The minute it doesn't suit them, you'll be working the hours they tell you, or you won't be working. That's the reality.0

You want a job where no car is required, they dont ask you to travel far, you can work when you want and you can make yourself unavailable as you please, preferably without them going to someone more reliable.
I dont know anything about them beyond paying their invoices on a regular basis but they are a real business and i dont think youll find what you are looking for.
Zero hour is for you from what you've said so far. You can dictate what you want to do and the company can dictate what it's going to give you. Fair for all.0
