Hi All
For those that remember me! I have a little update! Things are now a LOT better for everyone! My brother finally moved into a house with his girlfriend (and they are saving to buy their first house!) He works for the post office but its only a temp contract, last week he applied for lots of perm jobs & he has been offered 4 jobs so now doesnt know which one to take!!!
My parents are now sorted and are finding that they have more & more money each month left over for themselves! They have just come back from a very relaxing break in Tenerife, for which they only had to get flights as they used my uncles apartment out there. Its my mums 50th in a few weeks time & we are having a HUGE party for her- the best thing is its all been done on a budget! I have bought most things of ebay- one of her friends is making the cake, im doing the invites, a friend is doing the food, the hire of the hall is nothing & one of my brothers friends is doing the music for a small fee!
Now me! I have been very very good & not had to use my overdraft, in fact i took the whole thing off a few weeks back. Im managing my money a lot better, hubby is giving me more money & since he started working from home he has actually been spending more time with both our daughter & me. I have been doing overtime at work so i can get christmas sorted without having to get into debt, my open university is back on track & i know what i want to do. Life in general is good.
I couldnt have done any of it though without the support of the people on here, in times of darkenss (sounds really corny doesnt it?!) and when i thought there really was no way out of the debt, i thought my husband would leave me and i didnt know where or who to turn to, so im sooooo glad that i found this website!

What great news for all of you!!!!! Well done!!!!!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
