Credit search and remortgage

Hi,
I will be making a new current account application. Not looking for any overdraft facility. Have not had credit searches on my credit report for the last 12 months.
I will be applying for a remortgage in January. Will that new current account search likely to have any affect on my remortgage application?
Thanks

When you say remortgage you mean new rate, new lender or borrow more money the word is used for a few things either way one search won't make much of a difference no overdraft as you say and people switch banks all the time0
