Got job offer but not starting until next October - when should I tell JSA?

Hello,

I got a job offer today, the job starting date is 10/2019. I am due to go to my appointment on Monday with the Job Centre - what shall I tell them? since the job is next year I still required help and still willing to look for jobs since it a one year and still need a job until my start day.

    I wouldn't worry about telling them. It's great you have a job offer that starts in a new but that doesn't change your situation right now; as you say you'll still be looking for a job to fill this gap. You might even find one you prefer/better paid/etc.

    The last working day before you start if on jsa. You may be on universal credit by then if you aren't already. In that situation i believe you inform them of any change of circumstances online. Do that the day before you start or the latest opportunity.

    I wouldn't tell them now, for fear that they'll be a bit funny with you if they anticipate that you may not be as motivated in finding jobs for the meantime.
