can anyone tell me if they have bought the no7 sharpener? I bought one recently as using a woolly's pencil sharpener but it's not very good. .basically it just doesn't sharpen, I think it's blunt. Gone back to using the wooly's one.
I am going to take it back but has anyone else bought one and been happy with it?

• I bought a No 7 sharpener (the one with 2 sizes of thingies) and it's working fine, used it on lip pencil this morning. :)

Not sure if I have the same one, 2 sizes of thingies?
mine was £8 or £6 in a little black box.

Another question about Christmas shopping nights: the double points voucher and another total spend voucher from the last mailing specifically state on them "not to be used on Christmas shopping nights". I am assuming they will still scan, I just need to find a nice SA?

Mine said the same and I used both a 300 points wys £30 and a double points coupon (from mailings) on the last christmas shopping event.

LOL, that was the technical term for them! I meant 2 holes for different sized pencils. No idea at all how much it was, I grabbed it as it was something I actually needed in boots rather than something that they were a) giving away b) paying me to take away (either points-wise or cash-wise) or c) had so many free gifts/vouchers with it I couldn't resist!

There was a 10% off night last night here.
Store was not busy, which is great as I am currently using a walking aid, but I still managed to confuse (possibly upset) a supervisor who was called by the obviously new and (sorry) DIM, SA.
I bought:
no 17 lipstick
no 17 lip pencil (ACM vchr= free)
no 17 concealer stick
no 17 GWP (free WYS £5)
Paid with a £10 Pigsback vchr

The 'problem'? SA and them supervisor both kept trying to use the ACM vchr against the GWP. I did try to explain their basic error, but was told loudly: 'You CAN'T have a refund on a free gift, you have not paid for it!'

Had to reply in the same tone of voice and explain it loudly before they could grasp the idea of actually reading the ACM voucher. No apology.

It's a great GWP, but hard work to get it!
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
• Mum used her £2 haircare voucher with the Free toni&guy mini ACM voucher to get:

1 big size shine boost shampoo
1 mini shine boost hairspray

For total of £1.30 (Even the SA was shocked!)

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but another way to gain 50pts and get the No 17 gwp is:

1 x ACM voucher for 50 points when you buy a scholl party feet product
1 x No 17 nail extras glitter top coat (free with scholl product)
1 x No 17 other nail polish (£2.99)

So for £2.99 for the nail polish and £2.99 for the scholl foot spray you can get the GWP and 50 points :D

Also, sure its been mentioned but metro (london) were giving a free Revlon shiny sheer lipstick (£7.29) when you bought any other revlon product. Cheapest product i could see was some anti-blemish/concealer powder for £4.99.

For my grand spend of £37 i got 2 no17 gwp, 1 no7 gwp, 2 packets of free boots vitamins and 536 points back (yay!).

HTH :D

How do you get the free boots vitamins?
