A mix of purple and blue, I'd say, since it is shiny. the table lamp light is hitting it and it looks purple.
I think it is very nice. I has a short handle, so I guess this is some sort of evening purse? It think that without the handle it makes a nice cosmetics bag.

    Hi All

just remembered, I meant to say that when I opened my No 7 GWP (which I really like by the way, sorry to disagree with you Charming Monkey, I guess we're all different :A ) - I found a couple of vouchers inside -
£1.50 off Kodak instant photo kiosk and
£1.50 off 7x5 on 1 hour and 24 hour digital service.

    both valid until 29/1/08.

(sorry if this has been posted before, but I haven't seen it)

    cheers

Right, that's it! OH is being dispatched to Boots tomorrow armed with £5 voucher and a list - I will be making four calendars as Christmas presents (using make your own calendars from The Paper Mill) and usually use 7x5 prints for these (just stick them in the box on each month) and the voucher will come in handy :)
DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

  • Hi

I asked on the previous boots thread if some of you nice bootsers could post if you have gaming consoles/dvd recorders/I-pods etc in your local store as my local store is so small it stocks the bare minimum and as I have a good amount of points (thanks to mse peeps :) - gotta love glitches!!) so plz either post here or pm me :)

I am at the end of my tether with boots as I have been told various things about using my advantage points for store to store transfers on items, I am getting confused!!! - if anyone could shed any light it would appreciated.

    Many thanks Babymoneyblagger x-x

  • 4) Over 60’s Club
Thanks to MAISIE who says: "over 60's can register with Boots and get discount (I think it's now 10%) on Boots products. That includes No 7 range. It comes off price automatically when a/c is registered.
Handy for any older mums or for their daughters when using Mum's card!"
Just be careful with that..the till does indicate to SA that Over 60 discount is taken off. If you don't look over 60, they can refuse to accept the ad card for the transaction. As with all things Boots-related, it does depend on the SA...temps at this time of year don't tend to pick up on such things, but the more seasoned ones will.

If you have a biggish boots nearby (obviously not your local boots, but one within reach) that stocks iPods, you should be able to order one from them, even if they don't have them in stock at the time. 'Ordering' basically means that the next time whichever item you ordered comes in stock, one will be put on one side for you and you will be contacted, if you left a phone number. Talk to someone at photographic/electrical department for this.

As for inter store transfers, there shouldn't be any issue with using your points to pay as payment for these is taken at the till instore, as with any normal purchase. The only problem really is whether your local small store is willing to request the transfer. If they do not have secure storage facilities for such a high value item, it is unlikely they would request it.

I wouldn't have any problems with a store transfer as I know the staff in my local one so well now(always popping in to see what is on offer & have good chinwag!!! lol) its just finding the stores that have the stock that is the problem as CS have said that they do not stock any gaming items in any store but I would love to find one store and get it transferred to keep my kids happy at xmas!!!
