Not quite the same kind of thing, however, I had an order last month that I never received. I'd placed 2 orders within a week, the second order arrived safely, but a week later the first still hadn't arrived. I emailed them to ask if it had been despatched & they replied a couple of days later to say that they thought it was missing. I was sent a form to complete to say I'd never received it & was offered either a replacement order or a refund.

All of my orders have had to be signed for so if it has been delivered then I would imagine that someone must have signed for it? I would certainly be ringing them & telling them that you've definately not received or signed for it & asking what you can do about it.

May be Reading did all the nights they were planning to in the October and Novermber 'rounds'...

i placed an order that showed it was going to be dispatched as 1 shipment and it came as 2...2 boxes in first delivery and 1 box in the second. they were all just dumped on the door step and the boxes were ripped. it was only because i heard a slight thud that i went to the door and found them. lucky as it poured not long after. would have been really :mad: if i had paid for delivery.

When they were in stock everywhere (it must have been a few months ago now) Boots CS said that they had discontinued selling them in their stores, however they were selling them online but had no stock, I think they got stock once, but now they've taken them off the website completely and it doesn't even have them listed as OOS or 'Stock Coming Soon' anymore.

I'm not desperately trying to get hold of one before xmas as I can wait until afterwards and would prefer to leave the stock for people that are desperately hunting for one, but it's so annoying that they won't be getting them back into stores even when stock levels get back to normal afterwards as I was hoping to pay with points.

Now they've gone from the website it looks unlikely that they will be coming back so no gaining points buying it either! Typical! :rolleyes:

Our local HMV had DS's in stock if that helps anyone!!

Had to get some help on the ebay board today, and some MSErs very kind, others a bit snappy - I had to come back to the motherland (aka the Boots thread) for some kind MSE words!!

Im annoyed cos I did a spur of the moment shop the other day my OH wasnt well and was rushing me (how very inconsiderate hey!!) so i spent £36 and only got £3 back in points. Could have done much better if I had done it online. grr! oh well you win some...

Are any of you getting anything nice from Bootsie's for Xmas? I will be getting the dynamo lantern and the Elle Macpherson bag with cute shower cap. I can't wait!!!

Hopefully I'm not on the naughty list and will get said Boots items!!
