For people who were wondering about goodie bags at the xmas evening it varies from store to store depending on what budget they get. If they dont have goodie bags they may have some free samples lying about.

:rotfl: I was exactly the same when I started Bootsing! My o/h would come home to find a 'display' of goodies on the table....then I would go through each item telling him the true price, what I payed, my total saving for the whole lot, what I got free etc etc. Bless him, his eyes use to glaze over but I know he was secretly impressed! There was a time at the start of the year when us MSE Bootsers were all getting so many freebies and deals that we took pictures of our hauls and posted them on the thread...... one lady had a garden shed full!! :rotfl:

Just been into Boots and noticed their own brand twin pack pregnancy tests are reduced from £7.49 to £4.99. If you're a member of the Health Club they scan at half price so £2.49 which is a bit of a bargain :cheesy:

I did however mess up using my £5 No 7 vouchers and the free GWP :mad:

I worked it out that'd I'd have to do 3 transactions and would get 2 GWP. Somehow I put the wrong things together and my second transaction only came to £17! The shop was packed and I couldn't be bothered to let the SA redo it. However if I hadn't messed it up I wouldn't have got 350 points on a £30 spend (1st transaction).

BTW got the Toni&Guy and trevor Sorbie minis free with vouchers - first time I've ever had any freebies :j

eeeeeeeeh - Freebies!!! I never get anything free, but was thrilled (seriously!) to get vouchers for Trevor Sorbie AND Toni & Guy!! Got the mag today, so going back in on Monday for the rest of my extra points/freebies - I LOVE this thread!!

The 17 gwp will work on just a lipstick if you have the lip liner voucher free from the ACM. the till works out the cost of them both and allows you the GWP and then knocks off the cost of the lipliner, so lipstick, lipliner and free gift for £3.99!

And the first time I've ever found a glitch:j

My 20.00 Boots vouchers from pigsback arrived this morning:j I can't wait to spend them:D I really like the new N7 GWP, so will probably spend them on N7. I wish I'd kept a 5.00 N7 voucher now. I made sure I got rid of them early this time as I had to throw away quite a few 5.00 skincare vouchers last time as the shelves were empty of time delay products and I couldn't find anything cheap enough to spend them on.

Boots...here I come:D
