Can confirm the No 17 gift will not go through without proper spend. Till bleeps to alert SA.
Also tried the Maybelline free gift this is a £15 bag with brushes in if you spend £10 on Maybelline this also doesn't go through.
Going in to try the Rimmell one next although can't remember seeing that today.0 -
the scholl party feet glitch didn't work for me today...got the 4.99 gel cushions and the free nail varnish but the GWP didn't go through....I told the SA it worked last week and she just put it through for me!!! and a 50pts that was out of date on 24th Nov went through as well. I also got the GWP with Rimmell foundation...spend 7.99 and get a free eye shadow pallatte...its lovely... tried to pay with points and the till said NO...so the SA overode it and said YES!!!...no gillette sets left SA said they would be back in on Friday with 1/3 off. Lots of max factor GWP...do these still go through free???0

The glitch was that you could use the value of the free nailpolish towards the £5 spend not that you didn't have to make up the difference wasn't it? so you would have needed to buy an additional item for £2 to get the no 17 gwp.
The maxfactor Gwp does not go through without the appropriate spend.0 -

If anyone comes across a machine that 'does not work'. I would just try it anyway. Twice I have been to the same store - months apart and they have had a sign up saying it was not working when in fact it was !! No idea what goes on but it is worth trying them.
Are the expert baby wipes still half price??
