JSA help

My daughters boyfriend is staying with us, he has now lost his job.
my daughter works full time but is 8 months pregnant so wont be working much longer ( he is not the baby's father ). he has been informed by the DWP that because my daughter works full time, he may not be eligible for JSA.
Now i don't mind helping but we cannot afford to support him, and neither can she, so he's not paying anything towards his food, bills or rent.
Is this right!!!!!!

Just as two additional points:
1. Once baby is born the biological father would be liable for maintenance - so she needs to ensure this is claimed (and needs to plan any contact)
2. If the bf is going to support girlfriend and new baby, especially in the early months; he's probably worth his weight in gold.0 -

Yes its 'right'
Its not really a normal situation for someone to be living with their new partners parents ( I say new as he clearly hasnt been with her for more than 8 months)
Basically he needs to get himself a job quick. Great time of year for it, lots of places looking for Christmas temp staff.0
