I am looking for advice as I am at my wits end

I have been planning on getting a mortgage for a while, in August I obtained a copy of my credit report and found 55 payday loans that I never took out (all of which are settled, no money is outstanding) even though I have only ever had a phone contract and a current account!

I suspected who it was and spoke to my ex-partner, he took all of the loans without my permission using my details. We had a joint bank account which I wanted closed, he typed up the letter and we both signed it and then he told me it had been posted and the account was closed (I had no reason to disbelieve him at the time)

Turns out it wasn't closed, and he had changed the online banking details, turned statements online so I was completely unaware and he had used this account to get all these payday loans paid into. He couldn't get credit himself as he had terrible credit history.

I reported this to Action Fraud and I have a crime reference number, I have been to all of the companies and explained everything but it has been hell. I have not asked any of them for any form of compensation or anything I simply want the loans removed from my credit file as I never took them, very few of them have been helpful and removed the entries however I still have 5 payday lenders who just will not do anything as there "is not enough proof"

He is fully willing to accept liability and has even signed a fraud affidavit with Provident, which finally got the loan with them removed - He is willing to do this with any of them but they say it isn't enough

I still have QuickQuid, Quidie, PaydayUK and Payday Express on my credit file and I can't get them to take the loans off!

I currently have my complaint in with PaydayUK and Payday Express but they have taken 12 weeks now and I still have no response

Quidie are currently looking but told me via email "they do not have the ability to remove it from Call Credit"

And QuickQuid said they absolutely will not do anything unless I have the arresting officers name, which I cannot get as the police are telling me the company is technically the victim and they need to use the crime reference number provided to progress the case!

I just do not know where to turn anymore, I am only asking for my credit file to be amended I am not asking for anything more than that but none of them will help

I can't apply for a mortgage until these have been removed but it is impossible

Who else can I turn to?

Have you also got onto the bank and explained the situation to them and requested that they remove you from the account?

I have told the bank and have had the bank account closed now. I did ask them to write me a letter confirming that I had been a victim of fraud so I could pass it on however they said they cannot do this
