EDIT URGENT Incase anyone's calling for this now, they're asking for a code of where you saw the offer...it's advertised on their own website here, with no code, just says to call. I reckon if you tell them that they'll be fine.
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

I got through fine, the man on the phone had a the giggles! i have made a £10 donation and i also paid p&p too, so i think this is a very good idea as not only will they learn a lot from the surveys but also people will see the RSPCA t-shirts and it will mean they have loads of advertising to make people more aware of the charity!

Remember- a dog is for life! i have rescued both my dogs from horrific circumstances and please think about rescuing instead of buying from a breeder, thanks thats my preaching over for today :j
    HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Echoes my sentiments too. Our dog was 'rescued' from Dogs Trust. An absolutely fabulous concern for anyone looking for a canine friend. Flawless service.

The RSPCA provide an equally good service. Please don't abuse this offer without donating to the cause. Even if you just pop down with some old blankets, newspapers or something for their fundraising raffles / events.

A T-shirt is for a few washes - an animal is for life and someone has to pay to feed and care for them when they are looking for homes.
One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.

They told me 3-4 working days but judging by the number of calls I could hear in the background they have a lot to get out.

  • Spoke to a very friendly young man, no problems, and did not push for a donation. We always donate in the collection box anyway. Cheers, Woodville.

Just done this, thanks. No problems, they didn't ask for a code, just asked where I saw the offer. Lovely t-shirt and I will send back the survey etc.

Don't have any scruples about accepting the freebie. This is a marketing campaign: what the RSPCA get out of it is a large verified mailing list, which they can attempt to tap for donations. The survey will be one of leading questions, of the sort "do you think it's awful that animals are made to suffer", etc etc, leading to a "how much would you be prepared to donate to stop this" question, leading to a place where you can donate.

Charities are run like big businesses now, and some of the marketing tactics are manipulative to the point where they border on the scandalous. The RSPCA is a good cause, and many will want to give to them, but other good causes exist that are not able to afford this sort of campaign.
