Hargreaves lansdown withdrawal from Sipp

Just a word of warning to other customers of HL. Tried to withdraw an amount yesterday from my Sipp and it kept asking for trading password. I did not have one of these so I clicked on link forgotten password but it just came up with password or secure number. I could not think what I was doing wrong and as my IT skills I limited I thought it was me. Requested a telephone call back today and apparently they are doing IT maintenance and trying to remove the trading password.
I have messaged them saying that I think this should be mentioned somewhere on their homepage and await a response.

Are these not the changes which they introduced about June? You should have had an email and letter through the post about it.0

Yes had a letter in the summer with security changes - no issues since then...0
