Gleam - Problems with Twitter

Is anyone else experiencing twitter problems when entering Gleam competitions in terms of connecting your Twitter account.
I have been, in that it doesn't connect and you have to go a roundabout way to tweet or follow, I hoped it was a glitch and it would go away but 2 weeks in it's still the same.
Anyone else?
