I don't know if I'm self-employed

Hello! I'm confused about tax. Please help figure out my employment status. Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I'm a freelancer working from home for a company. It's quite a casual arrangement. I earn a lump sum each day I work for them and receive no payslips. The money just goes straight into my bank account. I don't issue any invoices. I presume the money I receive is untaxed(???)
Stupid question time - Do I declare this on my self-assessment as PAYE income or self-employment?

Self-employed if you're a freelancer. What makes you think you might not be genuinely self-employed?“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

I'm a freelancer in other jobs (usually full-time) and for those I am PAYE.
Whenever I've been self-employed in the past, I normally have to provide an invoice so I wasn't sure for this job. It's different from my usual set-up.0 -
