Bankruptcy fee funding - help

Hi everyone, new to this forum. In a desperate situation, work has cut my hours and I have very little to survive for the next month. I am about 26k in debt and was hoping to save up for bankruptcy early next year, but I am getting threatening letters from debtors and am running on borrowed time. Has anyone experience of using payday loans to pay the fee, I am so so desperate to get this over and done with before I have baliffs etc turning up at my door, I live with friends and don't want to cause any trouble.

Suffer from severe mental health problems, hours reduced due to OCD and depression, cannot work full time at the moment.

Thanks

There are trust funds you can apply to:

    Turn2Us

Try not to use credit to pay your fee, you can but you may get a restriction so you are classed as a bankrupt for longer or the creditor could take legal action after your BR as you had no intention of paying it back...rare for either of these to happen however it's not unheard of.

Have you spoken to any of the free debt advice charities?

Or Citizens Advice https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ t find your nearest one

I would say go straight to the closest Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) for free advice. They will go through the available options to you and the contact details for companies that can help

Try not to panic, keep calm and organise your thoughts.... Try not to stress and worry about what 'could' happen and instead make decisive action and seek free advice from CAB so you then don't have to guess at what to do next

Keep the letters from the debtors so you can take them to CAB, noting down all your debts, income, outgoings each month will help CAB assess your situation

If debtors call you just say to them you are seeking financial and legal advice through the citizen advice bureau and you will be in contact shortly

Good luck and keep us updated with how you get on

Thanks. I decided not to cut corners and just use whatever I earn this month to pay for it. My landlord who is a family friend has helped me out by reducing my rent. just had a feeling it was a bad idea
